According to the Washington Post, Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson has capitulated, the Democrats now have 60 votes for Obamacare and are moving toward cloture.
A Facebook post by Louisiana Sen. David Vitter this morning says that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has introduced his Manager’s Amendment, which is the “final” version of the bill. The Republicans have forced a reading of it before a cloture vote, which is going on now and has been going on since 7:30 this morning. Reading the Reid Amendment (the actual bill) will probably kill most if not all of the weekend unless the Democrats run roughshod over Senate rules again.
