Given the histories of the organizations involved in today’s events, however, and given yet one more example of a jihadist committing an atrocity in our midst yesterday – when an Islamist grad student stabbed to death a professor at Binghamton University with a kitchen knife – you’ll forgive the rest of us when we take a decidedly jaundiced view toward any event at which Islam is proselytized by people with a record of promoting violence or subjugation of non-Muslims by other means.
