George Will’s Excellent CPAC Speech

    Thin about it. Why do we now have obama? obama is the pres because of so-called republican conservatives. Liberal vs conservative is just another term for democrat vs republican, not much difference.

      It is wrong to suggest there is no difference between what is known as "liberal" (which is a misnomer; such people should be called Progressives or Statists) and conservative (properly explained, many of today's conservatives are true classical liberals in the sense of America's Founding Fathers). In fact there are two very different philosophies at work; one seeks to expand the power of the government and the other seeks to minimize it.
