While there may be greedy lawyers out there trying to exploit this situation there might not have been as much need if the BP etal had not engaged in so much underhanded behavior. They did kill almost a dozen people, hide lapses in their safety record, falsify BOP records in Alaska, try to coerce Deep Water workers into signing hold-harmless/ non-disclosure agreements and try to get fishermen interested in clean up to sign liability waivers. Ambulance chasers do no credit to humanity in general but neither do amoral corporate thugs that place profit above human life and the common good. What piffle.
