You're talking about a Preferred Species. Do not expect ANYTHING to come of this. The stench is overwhelming.

Jefferson, Rangel, Waters, and now Johnson — anyone see a trend here? This is the natural result of gerrymandered districts and the overwhelming black allegiance to the Democratic Party. Once a congressman is elected to one of these districts, they know that they will never face a serious electoral challenge. It's a lifetime job with tremendous power and no accountability except the legal system. As a result, on an overall basis, black Americans get very poor representation in Congress.

If her constituents had any understanding that she misappropriated funds, used them for her own benefit, and thereby cheated the deserving children of her district, perhaps there would be a loud protest. Or perhaps they know and don't care, because after all, her success translates to their success, right?

A sad commentary, and a discouraging sign of any hope for ethics in government, with voters such as these.
