What it shows is that Big Labor is in complete control of the White House. That’s not a complete surprise; we knew President Obama was in the pocket of the unions from the start. But when Richard Trumka talks to the White House every day and visits two or three times a week while members of Obama’s cabinet might as well live on Gilligan’s Island, it’s a bit irregular to say the least.

So the pendulum has swung to the other side now. What we need is a happy medium as we do not want the pendulum to swing back to the coal mining towns. This is what I fear if the backlash is too great.
