Any state which wishes to do so, should just go ahead with permitting (American) companies to drill, produce, or refine oil & petroleum products. To hell with what Barry, the Dept of Interior, or EPA says– let ‘em sue. The federal courts have already issued rulings in favor of permission– the location of the production sites, on or offshore, “should” be determined by LOCAL ZONING AUTHORITY ONLY– the feds have managed over the years to stick their uninvited noses into that process as well– they should ONLY be allowed to monitor and register the presence of immediate concerns of safety matters such as containment, emergency/medical, etc. but NOT insert restrictions based on the algorish conspiracy-wild theories of science fiction such as manmade climate change……
