I’m glad you removed the Bachmann video and posted this. I also remember that, earlier this year, US Rep. Steve King (R-IA) unsuccessfully tried to block the appropriations provisions, but I don’t remember why he was unsuccessful. In any event, Bachmann’s “discovery” isn’t new and her budget threat likely won’t work. Ergo, let’s hope Congress takes the Heritage Foundation’s advice and does the heavy lifting. They have to get busy, now, though, because the train is leaving the station.
