The Beautiful Jeff Landry-Michael Bromwich Hearing Video
This was yesterday at the House Natural Resources Committee hearing.
Landry makes this stuff fun. Put Landry up against a stuffed-shirt East Coast/Ivy League bien pensant, and it’s a little like feeding a hamster to a boa constrictor. Bromwich even looks a little like a hamster. And his father smelt of elderberries, but that’s another post altogether.
Seriously, it is a damn good question to ask Bromwich how much cash he needs to keep his agency processing permits in the event of a government shutdown. Not that Brommie would answer that question even if Landry actually threatened to feed him to a boa constrictor.

Actually it is rather easy when faced with someone who doesn’t even know order of magnitude of costs for a basic function of his agency. He’d be fired in the Real World. However, the Obama Admin IS Bizzarro World.
