Foreign aid is a $50 billion program, and it’s the number one least popular government expenditure. Everybody talks about the money that goes to Israel and Egypt, but over 40 countries get $100 million or more and most of them aren’t even close to being a national security interest of the United States.
Like Uganda and Mozambique, for example.
