Fleming Debates Frank Oz, Er, Eliot Engel On The Debt Limit

The new Democrat line is that if we don’t raise the debt limit it’s curtains for us. Rep. John Fleming gets to take a whack at that narrative.

Nothing especially new here, but Engel is a joke. Standard-issue New York lefty. It isn’t hard to come off well when the other guy is ranting about Big Oil and how borrowing less money and thus crowding out less capital from the economy is going to put us into a recession.
