I dunno. It looks kinda like Bin Laden, and he’s got a nice valley above his eye like the reports say. And those look like military-type dudes.

UPDATE (MacAoidh): I’m not sure that’s the real McCoy. The word was Bin Laden got it over his left eye, and this one has him getting it on the right.
But this one, I think, might be the real thing. It ain’t pretty at all. Comes from a reader who has some pretty decent military contacts…

The senior us official also says the White House received 3 sets of photos yesterday. The photos included:
1. Photos of OBLs body at a hangar after he was brought back to Afghanistan. This is the most recognizable with a clear picture of his face. The picture is gruesome because he has a massive open head wound across both eyes. It’s very bloody and gory.

The official says the challenge is that the picture that includes the most recognizable image of OBLs face – from the hangar in Afghanistan – is so gruesome and mangled its not appropriate for say the front page of the newspaper. On the other hand, this is the one that is most identifiable as him.
And don’t give me any crap about mixing up Obama and Osama. I have seen every talking head on CNN and Fox News do that in the last two days. I get at least one freaking mulligan, for crying out loud.
But I’ve corrected it five times since Sunday if I’ve done it once. At least.

Do you understand what you are saying? You suggest the President, the CIA, the US Military and the residents of Pakistan conspired to create an illusion just to take your mind off the Nation’s problems. How the hell could that be accomplished? You’re too smart for that, right?
al Qaeda is seeking retaliation; not revelation that bin Laden is still alive. If this were a BS story, then bin Laden will show up in a video telling you to vote Republican in the next election.

I’m no expert, but #2 looks like him and doesn’t look like a fake to me. The wounds seem similar to what the WH is describing.
This is all so absurd. We should have DNA’ed him, fingerprinted and toe-printed him and photographed him “dirty” and clean d from every angle until the cows (or maybe the sheep and goats) came home. This is a DEBACLE. And by the way, it wasn’t a killing; it was an assassination (which happens to be O.K. with me). We cleaned the body aboard a U.S. aircraft carrier and buried it at sea BEFORE we could take prints and document EVERYTHING with photographs? Come on. reminds me of the Kennedy autopsy. I agree WTF were they thinking when they (the Gov) decided to carry his ass to a ship to bury him at sea and not get DNA, finger prints ETC. ETC. I also can’t believe that his family (worth big bucks) did not get him or the seals didn’t just riddle his body with bullets and just leave him there. So that leads me to believe there is some thing up. Things that make you say Hmmmmm
