Here’s Sen. David Vitter’s response to the asinine Sen. Roberto Menendez and his “Beatings Will Continue Until Gasoline Prices Come Down” bill attempting to raise taxes on oil companies. But Vitter is also responding to his own Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who has a bad oil bill of his own.
Vitter says he’s voting against both, because both bills suck and won’t bring gasoline prices down through increasing domestic supply – which is the only way to effectively address oil prices.
