Exactly how is Perry an “internationalist?”
Likely because foreign companies are smart enough to invest in Texas.
I’m going to suppose it’s because he was on board with that Mexico-to-Canada highway thing at one point. The Alex Jones crowd made that deal into a scene out of Red Dawn, but it was never much to worry about and it never happened anyway.

It was a private solution to a public problem and those worry most about government were apparently not fond of a private solution.

Never doubted that he was running since a personal friend of mine who has had PLENTY of political influence over the years told me late in May that Perry was running and he was pleased about it.
