Vitter Endorses Caldwell For Attorney General

From an e-mail that went out this morning…

Wendy and I want to thank you for your friendship and support. Because we value it so much, I wanted to tell you directly about another candidate that I’m endorsing in the upcoming Louisiana elections this fall. I‘m proudly endorsing Buddy Caldwell for re-election as Louisiana’s Attorney General.

Buddy is more than a public official…he’s a leader. As Attorney General, he’s consistently fought to protect Louisiana taxpayers and Louisiana families. He’s shown this leadership by standing up against Obamacare, supporting laws against illegal immigration, and locking up violent predators who hurt our senior citizens and children.

Thanks to Buddy Caldwell, Louisiana’s a safer and a better place to work and raise our families. That’s why we need keep him as our Attorney General.

Please join us in supporting Buddy. You can learn more about him by visiting his website, www.buddycaldwell.com.

Thank you again for your friendship and commitment to conservative reform in Louisiana.

Sincerely,
David

I have a few “problems” with Caldwell (but what’s the alternative, and I have a few problems with Vitter also). Problem (1) with Caldwell is his REFUSAL to prosecute former AG Foti, Chief Justice Kimball, Chief Disciplinary Counsel Plattsmier, and others, who were complicit in my abduction, brutalization, torture and false imprisonment at Camp Amtrak on September 20, 2005, and the continuing violation of my civil rights since then. Caldwell’s failure to act is as REPREHENSIBLE as the original acts, which no innocent citizen of this country should have endured. (2) I have often wondered why it took Caldwell from February 2008, when he was sworn in, until October 9, 2008 to FIRE Calvin Fayard (Caroline’s “Paw”) and Fayard’s cronies from representing the State of Louisiana in the “Victims of KATRINA” litigation, pursuant to some “secret” deal cut between Fayard and his cronies and Foti, who was defeated before he could put any money in his pockets. An 8-month or thereabouts delay in establishing “good government” instead of the “same old, same old” still raises a lot of questions in my mind, which will be addressed in “the book”.
