BESE Board, District 6 Candidate, Charles “Chas” Roemer, will be the featured speaker at the Pachyderms of Greater Baton Rouge meeting on Thursday, November 17th at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be at the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant, 3084 College Drive, Baton Rouge, 70808. Roemer, who was elected to the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education in 2007, faces a run-off for a second term on November 19th. The program will also feature a roundtable discussion of the effect of unions and tenure on public education.
