New Perry Ad: I’m A Doer, Not A Talker
Well, that’s about the best you can say.
Perry also went on Letterman last night and did a top 10 list of excuses for the brain fart in that last debate…
Number 9 was the funniest one.
He needs to just be the goofy guy who’s had success in Texas, offering up good policy and not trying to pretend he’s the next Reagan. He needs to present himself as a flawed guy who can run a great nation, in contrast to Obama who thinks he’s a perfect man who can’t run a flawed nation.
Will it work? Well, trying to be Mitt Romney sure hasn’t.

What’s interesting is that Perry can and does communicate. He does very well in interviews and his speeches often bring crowds to their feet. That said, have we come to the point where talking in thirty-second sound bites and bumper sticker slogans are the hallmarks of leadership?
I’m still in Perry’s camp, you don’t have to be a great debater to even beat ummm, ahhh, ummm Obama when he is off totus…Perry is a doer and that is what we need to run, not a RINO romney…
With the “flub” the other night, and his being in just about every national news show yesterday, I’m calling “rope a dope”
