Conversations with Conservatives
is a group of free market and liberty-minded members of Congress that will meet monthly with traditional press and bloggers to discuss the most important issues of the day. Chaired by Representatives Tim Huelskamp (KS-01), Jeff Landry (LA-03) and Raúl Labrador (ID-01), each meeting will feature different conservative members of Congress to share their ideas and field questions from the media. While questions are not limited to these topics, members are expected to talk about appropriations and the upcoming reconciliation package.

Participating members in the May 2012 Conversations with Conservatives include: Rep. Tim Huelskamp (KS-01), Rep. Jeff Landry (LA-03), Rep. Raúl Labrador (ID-01), Rep. Jeff Duncan (SC-03), Rep. Louie Gohmert (TX-01), Rep. Sandy Adams (FL-24), Rep. Jim Jordan (OH-04), Rep. Justin Amash (MI-03) and Rep. Steve King (IA-05).

The event will be moderated by Rob Bluey, Director of the Center for Media and Public Policy at the Heritage Foundation. Chik-fil-A will be served, and wireless Internet will be provided.
