And if it panned out this way, Alan’s piece yesterday to the effect that Isaac might rival Katrina in terms of the economic hit it would cause to the economy – largely due to shutting in the lion’s share of the Gulf offshore oil industry – would be prophetic.
In any event this is going to be a rough week in Louisiana.
