What brought this on was Israel’s airstrike which blew to pieces one Ahmed Jabari, who was the head of Hamas’ military operations in the Gaza Strip. Jabari was a certified villain; he planned the operation to capture Gilad Shalit, the IDF soldier who was held captive from 2006 to October of last year. Jabari also had a big hand in Hamas’ seizing of power in Gaza.
