SARGE: Delightful Irony

eu·gen·ics: noun: the study of or belief in the possibility of improving the qualities of the human species or a human population, especially by…discouraging reproduction by persons having genetic defects or presumed to have inheritable undesirable traits (negative eugenics)

Sandra Fluke came to New Orleans touting her stand on “Women’s Reproductive Rights” (WRR) and probably fingering her honorarium as vigorously as she digitally arouses other aspects of her life she expects the American people to subsidize. Because of this emphasis people have placed on WRR and her appearance before Congress whining about America not subsidizing her sex-life, she’s now the poster-child for Planned Parenthood.

She’s got an argument worth listening to. I’ll explain shortly.

Planned Parenthood-like operations are a manifestation of Progressive Socialist political efforts to control everything from womb-to-tomb. Which is the worst operative term: is “Progressive” or “Socialist”? Progressive is defined loosely: as favoring or advocating change improvement or reform, as opposed to wishing to maintain things as they are, especially in politics. A Socialist is: a theorist believing in the system of social organizations advocating the investiture of ownership and control of the means of production and distribution (pregnancy and childbirth?) of capital, land, etc. in the community as a whole.

Useful idiots like Fluke are both. The disturbing point is how this all relates to the theory of Eugenics espoused by Margaret Sanger who made statements seen by many as racist because she advocated:

Our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying… demonstrates our foolhardy and extravagant sentimentalism encourage the healthier and more normal sections of the world to shoulder the burden of unthinking and indiscriminate fecundity (fertility) of others; which brings with it, as I think the reader must agree, a dead weight of human waste.  Instead of decreasing and aiming to eliminate the stocks that are most detrimental to the future of the race and the world, it tends to render them to a menacing degree dominant … We are paying for, and even submitting to, the dictates of an ever-increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all.”

– Margaret Sanger. The Pivot of Civilization, 1922. Chapter on “The Cruelty of Charity,” pages 116, 122, and 189. Swarthmore College Library

And let’s not forget this little nugget: “[Slavs, Latin, and Hebrew immigrants are] human weeds … a dead weight of human waste … [Blacks … and Jews are a] menace to the race. Eugenic sterilization is an urgent need … We must prevent multiplication of this bad stock.” Margaret Sanger, April 1933 Birth Control Review.

Over 40% of abortions execute black fetuses (who are a mere 13% of the total American population). You can see a terrible trend. The Democratic Party Courtship of Hispanics and other minorities under the guise of WRR strengthen the trend. Sanger spent time and great energy trying to sell the Ku Klux Klan (the military Arm of the Post-Civil War Democratic Party) her theories. (They have photos.) Some things never change.

The most egregious followers of Eugenics were: Winston Churchill, Theodore Roosevelt and John Maynard Keynes.  The American Progressive Movement supported eugenics, enticed by its scientific trappings and its promise to cure social ills. Adolf Hitler praised and incorporated eugenic ideas in Mein Kampf and emulated Eugenic legislation for the sterilization of “defectives” pioneered in the United States.

I’ll explain my earlier statement. I was asked how I felt about abortion. As a Native American (or member of the now PC moniker of “First People”) I said I didn’t care what the pro-abortion questioner did with her progeny. If she and others like her decided to kill her offspring before their birth it simply meant that many fewer racist, liberal, faux-intellectual, and theorist Caucasian bureaucrats to legislate stupid, nonsensical pogroms against Native People. Therefore, knock yourself out Bubbles. There’s a consequence for every action. That’s an example of Positive Eugenics in my book.

In the sense I believe you should practice what you preach on your own first; I’m pro-abortion. I’d suggest Ms. Fluke’s parents abort her retroactively. Isn’t the irony delightful?

Hey! It’s a start!

Thanks for listening.
