My younger daughter is an executive, in New Orleans, and her reports, along with that of Forbes, last month, are stunning. She says the professional class is growing by leaps and bounds and will transform the politics of the city, as well. Three years ago, she didn’t like living there. Now, she loves it. The pall has been lifted and the breezes of optimism have arrived. Criticize Bobby all you want, but perception is reality.
