What we’d heard was that a collection of various leftist groups were cobbling together something in New Orleans for later in the week. This must be it.

Of course, Anonymous is the group of punks who attempted to out the name of the cop who shot Michael Brown – and promptly got it wrong. That embarrassment probably should have sent them scurrying for a different issue to opine about, but naturally they still want to use this as a hill to die on.

Despite the fact that Darren Wilson, the cop Anonymous couldn’t identify, had his face bashed in so badly that his eye socket was broken and that he was beaten nearly unconscious by Michael Brown, according to police reports, and despite the fact that Brown’s partner in the Swisher Sweets robbery Dorian Johnson has now admitted Brown attacked Wilson and had gone for his gun.

So at 6:00 today in Lafayette Square in New Orleans we’ll see whether this two-week old ginned-up story increasingly unsupported by facts has enough legs to generate a true Day Of Rage, or if it merely provides a much-needed social outing for the usual cast of Occupy parasites, anarchist gutter-punks, race-hustling attention whores and metal-faced feminazis.
