If you’ve ever wondered what the children of liberal elite fear, look to none other than Chelsea Clinton.

Clinton, who is now 34 years-old and pregnant, announced that she fears her children will live in a world where elephants are non-existent because of poaching in Africa. While speaking at the Clinton Global Initiative’s 10th annual meeting in New York, Clinton said this: “The child Marc and I are waiting to bring into this world could grow up in a planet without elephants.”

She also reportedly said that elephant poaching is not only a “moral” and “ecological disaster” but also a “security threat” because the ivory from the animals is used as currency by terrorists groups such as Boko Haram, a militant group in northeast Nigeria, and the Lord’s Resistance Army, another militant group operating in northern Uganda and South Sudan.

And Clinton’s mother, Hillary Clinton is in on the “security threat” as well, saying she is “passionately committed to stop the poaching of elephants.” The two have made elephant poaching a main priority with their Clinton Foundation.
