VITTER: Go See “The Interview”

We all need to stand up to the North Korean dictatorship and in defense of freedom, and so I encourage you to see “The Interview.” North Korea can’t have any reason to think that bullying and intimidation will threaten American principles like freedom of speech. Please keep in mind the “R” rating. I’ve heard it’s very crude.

I’ll be seeing it with adult family members at Chalmette Movies on Monday, December 29th at 2:00 pm.

In addition to seeing “The Interview,” I encourage folks to also make a contribution to the Wounded Warrior Project–maybe whatever amount you’re spending at the movies.  I’m sending in $1,000.

Last week I urged President Obama to show the movie at the White House for Members of Congress followed by a serious discussion of the strong, substantive measures we plan to take as a nation against cyber attacks. Bringing all Members of Congress to watch this movie together would send a strong, clear message that America will not be intimidated. We can do our part here in Louisiana.

Thanks and enjoy the show,

David
