This ran at WaPo under the headline “Bobby Jindal’s Poor Grammar” on the paper’s State Of The Union liveblog…

It’s a stupid thing to get beat up over, but on the other hand bad grammar makes you look stupid.

Let’s face it – Twitter is pretty stupid. And it’s also stupid to bank your credibility and political stature on the performance of the 23-year old who handles your social media.

Besides, you never put “free stuff” in quotations when you’re trying to snark about Democrat political promises. You always use Free Stuff instead. Easier to punctuate and much snarkier.

Jindal is quickly being relegated to the status of Herman Cain by the national press – who goes on and on about racism and yet saves its particular venom for Republican candidates of other-than-European heritage. That is palpable, but of course it was predictable as well – and Jindal and his team should be taking precautions not to fall into the trap Cain did.
