The plan to attack the messenger in the wake of the Clinton Foundation corruption allegations contained in Peter Schweizer’s new book just hasn’t been executed with the typical aplomb usually displayed by the spin doctors in the Clintons’ employ.
Lanny Davis has come off poorly. John Podesta oozes dishonesty. David Brock outclowns even his hair.
But nobody has been reduced to babbling stupidity while attempting to discredit Schweizer – which is akin to shutting the barn door following the horse’s escape in any event seeing as though the scandal has now broken out into mainstream media operations like Reuters, the New Yorker, the Washington Post and the New York Times – as Louisiana’s own James Carville.
Fortunately for Carville, nobody was actually watching the Ed Schultz show when he beclowned himself attempting to tar Schweizer as an “anti-Disney, gay bike bar Glenn Beck or whatever this guy is.” Unfortunately for Carville, the video clip of his buffoonery was captured and saved for posterity online…
