I woke up this morning to this tweet in my mentions on Twitter from a South Carolina politico.

It should be no surprise that liberals didn’t even wait for the bodies to get cold before attacking Bobby Jindal, his faith, and the NRA for the Lafayette shooting.
We’ve already covered Bob Mann’s attacks on the breaking news post last night and he doubled down on his ghoulish attacks in the Times-Picayune today and he cross-posted his column on Salon.
What first set liberals off was Bobby Jindal’s tweet to pray for the victims in Lafayette.
I'm on my way to Lafayette right now. Please say a prayer for the victims at Grand Theatre and their families.
— Gov. Bobby Jindal (@BobbyJindal) July 24, 2015
When will we recognize that our "thoughts and prayers are with the…." are not enough to prevent these tragedies? When?

As much as I believe in the power of prayer, I wouldn't turn down an effective background check requirement for commercial sale of arms.

Could you pray for sensible gun control laws while you're at it? https://t.co/ukWEkQAFpI

@BobbyJindal maybe stop praying and actually start doing something to prevent things like this from happening again

Louisiana has the highest homicide rate in America. I'd feel pretty stupid if I was governor and only offered 'prayers' instead of change.
— Zeddy (@Zeddary) July 24, 2015
You want to pray? Pray our dumb, gun obsessed, blood drenched nation snaps out of it and finally does something about guns. #Lafayette

Then they attacked Jindal for even being there. Jindal was in a no-win position with these guys. If he showed up, he was exploiting it. If he didn’t show up, he was a monster.
Gov. Bobby Jindal is rushing to the scene for his photo op, then he'll proceed to do nothing about it
— Jordan Ashby (@JM_Ashby) July 24, 2015
Reporter just asked Jindal, "How'd you get here so fast?" Because nobody believed he was actually in Louisiana.
— VacatedWins (@VacatedWins) July 24, 2015
Seriously, and our ever-absent governor says that we could never have imagined this happening in Louisiana? Really?! https://t.co/7qxco74ALm
— Noah! Bryant Ballard (@NoahhhBallard) July 24, 2015
@BobbyJindal btw when you say it's unimaginable–maybe you were out of state for the other ones? https://t.co/OG6fO2UibG
— tk (@tklowenstein) July 24, 2015
@RTMannJr was the gov in La when the shooting happened or did he come back? suddenly he's very hands-on.
— tk (@tklowenstein) July 24, 2015
No surprise that #jindal showed up on the scene to get facetime after Lafayette shootings. I'm surprised he could find Lafayette.
— Phillip Ardoin (@ardoinpj) July 24, 2015
Finally, it wouldn’t be an American mass shooting without attacking the NRA. Nevermind that the theater is a “gun-free zone” that bans all privately-owned firearms, even if the holder has a concealed carry permit.
@BobbyJindal all with the @NRA script: “…when topic of gun control came up, Jindal responded ”…Tonight’s not the night.“ #Lafayette #NRA

.@piersmorgan: Governor Jindal, you've got the blood from this massacre all over your NRA-approved hands http://t.co/0cADHJFUgn #Lafayette

Keep it classy guys.
