Two New Orleans East Residents ROBBED AT GUNPOINT In Separate Incidents In Just 15 Minutes

A couple of armed robberies in the New Orleans East area last night occurred just 15 minutes apart from one another, while the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is looking for the suspects, according to a NOLA.com report.

  • The first armed robbery occurred at roughly 11:11 am when three armed gunmen walked up to a 20 year-old man in the 7000 block of Huntington Park Drive. The three robbers demanded property from the man when another man showed up and they robbed him as well. The robbers then fled in a dark blue car toward Morrison Road.

 

  • The second armed robbery occurred at 11:26 am, just 15 minutes later, when a 28 year-old man was robbed at gunpoint by two men in hoodies close by Downman Road and Dreux Avenue. One of the men pulled out his gun and demanded his property. Police have not said whether the armed robberies are connected.
