If you’re trying to find a solution to make the country safer, chances are, you’re not going to ask the mayor of one of the most dangerous cities in the entire country. That’s like asking a feminist how to think.
However, that did not stop Mayor Mitch Landrieu of New Orleans from lecturing the country on national security in a piece for CNN.com. Landrieu’s solution is simple: The federal government needs to funnel more money to local authorities and local law enforcement.
And like any true liberal, Landrieu failed to mention the words “Islam,” “Islamic terrorism,” “radical Islam,” or even “Muslim.” Instead, Landrieu opted for the term “terrorism and violence,” as if it is random and unrelated to an extremist ideology.
Here’s an excerpt from Landrieu’s write-up:
Through it all, threats both foreign and domestic, one thing is clear, the United States cannot be strong abroad if we are weak at home. The American people demand and deserve safety and security across the board, from economic security to safety in their neighborhoods.
Protecting the homeland must be our first priority. Since this country was attacked on 9/11, our commitment to bring the perpetrators to justice has not wavered. In a blink of an eye, trillions of dollars spent and so much American blood spilled. But in this new age of ISIS and extremism generated over the internet, the terrorist threat is changing and we can’t be stuck fighting the last war.
Of course, if Landrieu had a clue, he would understand that the biggest threat to national security, which is why I endorsed Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) for governor against the likes of Gov. John Bel Edwards (D) who refuses to even take a stance on immigration. Vitter was adamantly against illegal immigration, accepting refugees and current high levels of immigration.

Minneapolis has become the capitol of Somalis in the country, along with the city of St. Paul. Approximately more than 30,000 Somalis now live in the state of Minnesota and Somalis have managed to retain their culture in the area, transforming the state’s 5th District.
The convictions of Somali-Americans, American converts to Islam in the area or Somali refugees have been widespread and vast for collaborations with Islamic terrorist groups.
For example, earlier in the year, al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the warning that was put out to be aware of a terrorist attack on the Mall of America in Minnesota.
An FBI spokesman in Minneapolis told the Washington Times that there has definitely and without a doubt been a huge targeted effort by terrorist groups on the area, whether to convert youth or persuade them to join jihad efforts through social media.
In fact, since 2008, more than 40 men from Minneapolis have joined jihad efforts. Examples include a young man who was recruited by jihadists in Minnesota and died in Syria last year while fighting for the Islamic State.
Another example involves a Minneapolis man who joined the al-Shabab terrorist group and blew himself up as a suicide bomber at the Ethiopian consulate in Somalia in 2009. The man ultimately killed 24 people in the terrorist attack.

What was once seen as a socialist play-land, has become a country where Swedish women being raped and gay men being attacked is the norm that local authorities refuse to deal with because they don’t want to ‘stigmatize Islam.’
All of this evidence still does not stop the ruling class and political establishment from refusing to call out the disturbing impact of importing cultures and people from countries where men are told to “lightly beat” their wives.
Just this week, the Hayride conducted exclusive research that the local media refuses to accept, where we discovered that Muslim immigration is largely on the rise in the state of Louisiana.
Specially, in parishes like Vernon Parish, Rapides Parish, Iberville Parish, St. Bernard Parish, Lincoln Parish, Assumption Parish and Orleans Parish, there has been a recent influx of Muslim immigration that goes almost unreported to the public.
Still, the Obama administration has issued over 680,000 green cards to Muslim migrants just in the last five years, according to Dept. of Homeland Security data.
These 680,000 Muslims admitted legally into the US through the visa program system, outpaces the population of Washington DC, which is 660,000 residents.
After the Orlando terrorist attacks, any sane country with the native population’s interest in mind, would shut down all immigration into the country, deport illegal immigrants and visa overstay-ers, and stop admitting visas to foreigners from countries where extremist ideology against women and gays is the norm.
That’s not what the Obama administration done, though. Actually, they’ve done the opposite.
Since the Orlando terrorist attack, the country has admitted 441 Syrian refugees, according to Breitbart. That’s 147 Syrian refugees entering the country every single day, right after an Islamic extremist killed at least 49 gay Americans.
Landrieu, like with most issues, refuses to acknowledge these hard truths. Instead, he’s continued to blather on about how if only the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) had more money. But, no local police force can stop Islamic terrorist attacks when a country is literally importing it everyday.
Just look at where delusion has gotten the city of New Orleans.
