Last week began with paroxysms of outrage from certain mainstream media sources, CNN chief among them, over being banned from a press gaggle at the White House as retaliation for what the Trump administration called “fake news” being put out on its air.

One thing about the Trump administration – whatever else you might think of its tactics and actions, it has done more to expose the cognitive dissonance and outright dishonesty of media outlets like CNN and the Washington Post than any other political operation we’ve ever seen. Or maybe it’s just that the abuses by those media outlets have become so brazen as to fall apart on their own.

Either way, when ReasonTV’s Remy decided to shine a light on the media’s “fake news” penchant in response to last week’s kerfuffle, we thought it was spot on…
