Scott Angelle finally has his sinecure after his unsuccessful run for Congress. He will be joining the Trump Administration.
From The Advocate:
The Trump administration has tapped Louisiana political veteran Scott Angelle to head the federal Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement, which regulates offshore drilling.
The appointment, which was announced Monday, means Angelle will step aside from his post on the Louisiana Public Service Commission, where his term began in 2013 and was to run through 2018.
Angelle’s first day is Tuesday.
