Multiple reports are coming in that Congressman Steve Scalise has been released from Intensive Care at MedStar Washington, according to the Washington Examiner.

Scalise went back into the ICU last week for a surgery to deal with an infection, according to the hospital. Scalise sustained multiple gunshot wounds at a shooting on June 23, in which a left-wing madman targeted Republicans including Scalise, hitting the House Majority Whip and two aides.

The infection was the biggest concern the hospital appeared to have with regard to Scalise, but if he is out of the ICU, then that bodes well for his recovery efforts.
