I hadn’t even considered what might be in store for  Paul if by some miracle he were to actually become president.

Fortunately, there are compassionate people who have thought this through and have launched an effort to save him from the inevitable if he were to win the presidency:

While I have issues with Ron Paul, I believe he’s a decent guy and I don’t want to see anything bad happen to him.

I’m sure that some Paulites might accuse me and the makers of this video of taking a cheap shot at Paul because of his age, but I would ask them to search their hearts and ask themselves if they are really looking out for their candidate.

I don’t know if the presidency would do him in, as the “Save Ron Paul” people suggest, but if he were to age at the rate Bill Clinton did in the Oval Office he might end up looking something like this by the end of his first term:

Nobody wants to see this happen, just like nobody should want to see Obama elected to a second term. It should be understood that there is no really good outcome if Paul were to win his bid to become the Republican nominee. That’s true for the nation and it appears that might even be more true for Paul himself.

With that in mind, I was sent a ditty today that was crafted by a man from Jennings named Pat Jack.

It’s a song about Ron Paul done to the tune of  ”Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer.” And just when you thought all the Holiday fun was over.

It’s sure to become an instant classic…or maybe not.  Here is a link to the MP3.

Nothing against Mr. Jack. I’m sure he’s a nice person, but I just would just be sure to look into my stocking next year before sticking my hand in if I were he. I’m not sure how Santa, and especially Rudolph, feels about things like this.

As for me, I’m working on a Christmas tune titled “Here Comes Santorum” by ripping off “Here Comes Santa Clause” I doubt It will get much play before Santorum sinks back to the bottom of the polls, so I’m not really gonna spend that much time on it.

Looking at Obama’s lack of leadership in the wake of the failure of the so-called Super Committee, Chris Christie, New Jersey’s rotund Republican governor, asked the president a question.

The Super Committee, of course, did exactly what Obama hoped it would do –nothing. This way the president will be able to point at others for the country’s problems as he tries to get re-elected next year. After all, no one is really buying  him using George Bush as a scapegoat anymore.

As for as we know, Obama hasn’t answered Christie. That doesn’t matter, as the question was probably rhetorical. We all know what we have been paying Obama for…

There is a way that the government could greatly improve its ability to find a green jobs initiative.

Drill 

The US government received $23billion in revenue from energy resource production on government lands in 2008.  Last year, with reduced leasing and drilling activity, those revenues dropped to $10billion.

Energy production companies not only pay royalties to landowners, but they pay taxes as well.  As their lots improve, so does the lot of the nation.  By allowing domestic production to resume and grow, there would not only be an increase in direct tax and royalty payments to the government, but there would be job creation accompanied by rising personal income tax payments to the government, reduced government borrowing, reduced service on that debt, and reduced dependence on foreign sources.

The federal government makes more off a gallon of gasoline than do the oil companies.  So, support green energy, and drill, baby, drill!

A 47 year old gay man was arrested at San Francisco International Airport after ejaculating while being patted down by a male TSA agent.  Percy Cummings, an interior designer from San Francisco, is being held without bail after the alleged incident, charged with sexually assaulting a Federal agent.

Wait, there’s more. Here’s where most of our readers can rest a little easy…

According to Cummings’ partner, Sergio Armani, Cummings has “multiple piercings on his manhood” which were detected during a full body scan.  As a result, Cummings was pulled aside for a pat-down.  Armani stated that the unidentified TSA agent spent “an inordinate amount of time groping” Cummings, who had apparently become sexually aroused.  Cummings, who has a history of sexual dysfunction, ejaculated while the TSA agent’s hand was feeling the piercings.  The TSA agent, according to several witnesses, promptly called for back up.  Cummings was thrown to the ground and handcuffed.

See? No problem. Leave Prince Albert in the can and you’ll fly right through security. Otherwise…freakshow.

On the other hand, there’s this line…

A TSA spokesperson declined to comment on this specific case, but said that anyone ejaculating during a pat-down would be subject to arrest.

Next time you go through security, just think to yourself “Susan Estrich naked! Susan Estrich naked!” You’ll do fine.

Fewer than half (46%) know that the Republicans will have a majority only in the House of Representatives when the new Congress convenes in January, while 38% can identify John Boehner as the incoming House speaker.

Also, as many Americans believe that Tony Hayward is the U.K. Prime Minister as believe that Conservative leader David Cameron is the PM:

Just 15% know that David Cameron is the prime minister of Great Britain; about as many say it is Tony Hayward, the former chief executive of BP. The proportion correctly identifying Cameron as the British prime minister is about the same now as it was in July (19%).

On a more amusing note, it was discovered that most registered Democrats are not aware that the unemployment rate is near 10%:

About six-in-ten Republicans (63%) correctly estimated the unemployment rate at about 10%, compared with 48% of Democrats. A wide partisan gap is also seen in awareness of the U.S. trade deficit: 72% of Republicans and 58% of Democrats say that the U.S. buys more good from abroad that it sells.

Explains alot.
