International Women’s Day Advocates: If you really support black women stop Planned Parenthood’s racist genocide

Here’s a message for supporters of International Women’s Day: If you really want to support women, stop supporting policies and organizations that target black women, like Panned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood supports sex-selective abortion– including the choice to kill baby girls– both in and out of the womb.

It also is racist– targeting black women, and especially poorer black women in lower-income neighborhoods.

Planned Parenthood tweeted that it was better for black women to kill their babies than potentially be killed by them. The organization’s tweet implied that it was safer for black women if less black babies were born.

Last Halloween Planned Parenthood’s PP Black Community Twitter account tweeted: “If you’re a Black Woman in America, it’s statistically safer to have an abortion than to carry a pregnancy to term or give birth. #Scary Stats.”

Alveda King, Director of Civil Rights for Unborn Children and niece of Martin Luther King, responded at the time to Planned Parenthood’s message. She said,

Mother Teresa saw abortion as the greatest example of poverty.  ‘It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish.’ Abortion is a civil wrong. The pro-life movement stands for justice and is ‘the new civil rights movement.’ What ‘Blacks’ were for the Civil Rights Movement of the 60s, the unborn are for the Civil Rights Movement of today.

She wasn’t alone. Others responded on Twitter pointing out Planned Parenthood’s racism.

After Planned Parenthood received a backlash on social media it still maintained its position:

Still, Planned Parenthood and abortion has wiped out the black community in America.

As BlackGenocide.org points out, minority women (15 to 44-years-old) account for roughly 13 percent of the U.S. population, but 36 percent of abortions. Black women are five times more likely to have an abortion than white women, and 1,876 black babies are killed every day in America.

Abortion is medical genocide and racism against blacks. PBS produced a program about black abortion, “Anti-abortion Crusaders: Inside the African-American Abortion Battle”, which aired last December. Its focus is an unfortunate truth:

The most dangerous place for an African-American child is in the womb.

The program can be viewed here.

To stop the killing of black girls and the targeting of black women, consider supporting the Rev. Clenard H. Childress and his organization, LEARN, which is the largest black evangelical pro-life organization in America.
