VIDEO: Kennedy Demands A Mayorkas Impeachment Trial

After his vote for that $95 billion boondoggle Ukraine funding bill, we’re not holding John Kennedy in particular good odor, and we’ve said so here in the pages of this site.

That said, we should give Kennedy his due, because he’s at least saying the right words where it comes to Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.

The House has passed a resolution impeaching Mayorkas for very obvious reasons – he’s directly responsible for Joe Biden’s border invasion, an open, bleeding sore which includes among its abuses a fentanyl crisis, an explosion in sex trafficking, an army of jihadists and Chinese sappers pouring across the border. The negative – probably fatal, for many Americans if not our society at large – consequences of this are only beginning.

Mayorkas has lied about this, just as the entire Biden administration has. It is a dereliction of duty which goes far beyond incompetence and sits firmly in the realm of treason.

And impeachment, which at the end of the day would only constitute a firing, rather than a firing squad or a lengthy prison sentence that a sane society would surely impose on someone who created a $15 billion human trafficking industry on behalf of pedophiles, drug dealers and jihadist and Chinese enemies by refusing to do his job, is an obvious remedy for the legislative branch.

Yes, there should be a trial. Chuck Schumer is refusing to hold one. Which is unprecedented, as Kennedy notes.

He should stay on this issue and he should bring fire and brimstone against the Democrat leadership in continuing demands for an impeachment trial of Mayorkas.

This is a good start in doing so. Let’s hope he keeps it up.
