    It’s mostly right.  I don’t agree with canceling the game.  Why punish a bunch of innocent people along with the guilty?  The players on the team didn’t do anything wrong.  There’s no reason that they shouldn’t be allowed to play.  If the concern is that Penn State is going to make money off the game (and that’s legit), I think that the university should donate all ticket receipts from the game to a charity that helps abused kids.

    But, yeah, if PSU isn’t firing McQueary because they’re worried about possibly violating the state whistleblower law, they have their priorities wrong.  They are already facing $100-250 million in lawsuits, so whatever fine they would have to pay doesn’t seem like a big deal.
