Landry’s Momentum Growing: Landry Picks Up Even More GOP; Conservative Support As They Unite Behind Him.

from a release by Jeff Landry’s campaign…

Jeff Landry, the leading candidate for Louisiana’s 3rd Congressional District, has earned the endorsements of two more Parish GOP Committees within the 3rd Congressional District and the endorsement of one of the largest, leading conservative woman’s groups in the nation.

Both Plaquemines and St. Bernard Parish GOP Committees have now joined a majority of Parish Committees in uniting behind Jeff Landry.  In addition, the well-respected national conservative organization, Concerned Women PAC, has given its endorsement to Landry as well.  “It is an honor to have the support of the local GOP organizations and Concerned Women of America,” said Landry.

After finishing with nearly 50% of the vote in the first closed party primary, nine Parish GOP Committees jointly endorsed Landry, in a display of unity.  Now, with Plaquemines and St. Bernard joining the other committees, it is clear that Republicans and conservatives are unified behind Landry’s candidacy.  “Jeff is the right choice for Louisiana,” said Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women PAC.

The Parish GOP Committees that endorsed previously are: Ascension, Assumption, Iberia, Lafourche, St. Charles, St. James, St. John, St. Mary, St. Martin.  Concerned Women PAC endorsement followed the endorsements of other national conservative organizations such as American Conservative Union, Conservatives of America, Family Research Council Action PAC, Catholic Families USA, Catholic Advocate.  And in the biggest display of unified support for Landry, both the TEA Party of Louisiana and the Republican Party of Louisiana have endorsed Jeff Landry.

The Republican run-off will be held on October 2nd and early voting will begin this Saturday, September 18th through the 25th.
