His name’s Allen West, he’s a retired Army colonel and freshman congressman and he might just be the single greatest patriotic American leader we have.

To set this video up, West was conducting a town hall in Pompano Beach tonight – and up strode someone named Nezar Hamze, the executive director of the South Florida chapter of the Council for American Islamic Relations South Florida – a Muslim Brotherhood front group.

Koran in hand, Hamze asked West if he could show where Muslims are directed to kill Americans. West didn’t give the typical diplomatic answer we expect from politicians. Instead, he dismantled Hamze.

Apparently this isn’t the first time West has handed Hamze his worry beads. Nearly a month ago, Hamze attempted to ambush West at another town hall and fared similarly.

West has also gone after Minnesota Democrat Keith Ellison, a Muslim convert with strong CAIR associations, declaring the latter to be the “antithesis of the principles on which this country was established.”

This is a man with the courage of his convictions – and, having led troops on the battlefield in Iraq, the experience to inform them.
