It is my hope that the office of Governor Jindal reads this letter.

February 21 was a big day in Houma. The Governmental Affairs Committees from both the Louisiana State House and Senate held a meeting at the Civic Center to present the parameters
of 2011 Redistricting and receive input from the public.

The media says over 300 people attended this meeting. I should know – I was there. The Houma meeting had the highest attendance of all nine Redistricting Meetings statewide.
