This was great. It’s Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT), who was one of the Tea Party guys who rolled into office in November, mounting a defense of the Tea Party movement against claims by President Obama and his minions in the Senate Democrat leadership that it’s the Tea Party’s fault we’re about to have a shutdown.

Lee says nope, that Obama has been sowing the seeds of this for months and he wants it. When Obama said he’d veto the bill that would fund the troops for the rest of the year today, he gave some credibility to Lee’s claim.

It’s a powerful speech. It definitely shows it was a good idea to have Lee in the Senate and RINO codger deluxe Bob Bennett out.
