I’ve hinted at this over the last couple of weeks, but it’s about time I came out with it and let our readers know that I’m helping the Rick Perry campaign with its fundraising efforts.

And now there’s a specific event coming up that those of our readers with the means and the motivation can participate in.

The event? A lunch fundraiser in New Orleans one week from today – August 31 at Le Foret. There’s a reception and photo-op for VIP’s at noon and a luncheon at 1:00.

Admission is $2,500 for individuals, or $5,000 for couples. Yes, this fundraiser is for max-out contributors. It has to be that way right now; they’re in the process of standing up the campaign and that’s a dollar-intensive effort. Think of it as raising startup capital.
