Conversations with Conservatives is a newly-established group of free market and liberty-minded members of Congress that will meet monthly with traditional press and bloggers to discuss the most important issues of the day. Chaired by Representatives Raúl Labrador (ID-01), Jeff Landry (LA-03), and Tim Huelskamp (KS-01), each meeting will feature different conservative members of Congress to share their ideas and field questions from the media.

Participating members in the March 2012 Conversations with Conservatives include: Rep. Raúl Labrador (ID-01), Rep. Jeff Landry (LA-03), Rep. Tim Huelskamp (KS-01), Rep. Jeff Duncan (SC-03), Rep. Ted Poe (TX-02), Rep. Louie Gohmert (TX-01), Rep. Bill Johnson (OH-06), Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle (NY-25), Rep. David Schweikert (AZ-05), Rep. Sandy Adams (FL-24) and Rep. Vicky Hartzler (MO-04). Additional members are expected to attend.

The event will be moderated by Rob Bluey, Director of the Center for Media and Public Policy at the Heritage Foundation. Special topics of interest will be Obamacare, energy and the House’s proposed federal budget.
