VIDEO: Romney – And Obama – At The Al Smith Dinner

This was the highlight of the campaign.

For me, it always is. I love the Al Smith Dinner speeches. They’re pretty much the only time these guys get to pull the board out of their butts and have fun.

But for Romney to do it is particularly enjoyable, because let’s face it – his public persona is of a very, very stiff corporate guy.

He uses that to his advantage, because he keeps to it in his delivery. Deadpan, with some wickedly funny lines.

UPDATE: Obama’s speech, though this clip misses maybe his best line at the beginning, where he tells the guests “Please take your seats before Clint Eastwood comes over and yells at them.”
