The Red Bayou Show, Episode 16 – Featuring The Hayride’s Own Kevin Boyd

We kept it in the family this week, as Hayride senior contributor Kevin Boyd sits in with Brian Haldane and Scott McKay to discuss the recent tumult in the 2016 Presidential race. More specifically, they talk about the spectacle that is Donald Trump. Does “The Donald” have what it takes to make it as the Republican nominee, or will he be exposed as a sideshow? And if Trump isn’t the guy, who is? Kevin, Scott, and Brian look at Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush and Scott Walker as prohibitive favorites. They also take a look at 2 candidacies that aren’t living up to the hype in Rand Paul and Marco Rubio.

Aside from the Presidential race, the guys spend a few minute talking about the Confederate monuments in Louisiana, and which ones are going to be removed. Kevin took part in a panel discussion on LPB about the matter, so Brian and Scott pick his brain about that discussion.
