Tonight at 5:30 is the second stop of the Hayride’s 2019 @Large Tour, this taking place at The Lakehouse (2025 Lakeshore Drive) in Mandeville, and if you haven’t gotten your tickets you still have an opportunity to get some. We’re expecting a good crowd but the house is not yet full.
So help us fill that room up! Click here and grab your tickets now.
Our speakers tonight, not counting Hayride publisher Scott McKay, who promises to hold forth on topics not including the terrible allergic effects of Louisiana oak pollen this time of year (he really does, even though it’s all he can think about at present), are State Representatives Reid Falconer of Mandeville, who is running for the State Senate seat currently held by Jack Donohue made vacant next year by term limits, and Alan Seabaugh of Shreveport. They’ll be talking about this fall’s elections and our opportunity to change Louisiana for the better – or not.
The event is sponsored by State Representative Mark Wright, who might also be persuaded to say a few words.
As said above, the reception will begin at 5:30 with an open bar and hors d’oeuvres, with the speechifying beginning around 6:30. The event which follows, the VIP dinner at Nuvolari’s Restaurant down the street, is sold out.
It’ll be a great opportunity for conservatives to get together and fire ourselves up for this fall’s political fights, not to mention the legislative session which is about to begin.
