MARSH MAN MASSON: We Carried A Boat Off The Side Of The Road For NONSTOP Action!

For Joe Lavigne, incredible fishing is never far from home. The retired teacher and football coach watches rain gauges and river levels like a weatherman, just waiting for conditions to get right on the rivers that run like translucent ribbons all around his Independence home.

Lucky for me, Lavigne often invites me to tag along, and when our schedules align, I NEVER pass up the opportunity. That happened recently.
