Hunter Biden loves the nose candy.

NBC “journalist” Andrea Mitchell is shocked — shocked, I tell you — that Hunter might have smuggled some of his personal stash into father Joe’s White House.

“I can’t even fathom anything like this having been found before in the West Wing,” said Ms. Mitchell, a devout leftist whose tenure at NBC dates back 30 plus years.

Someone needs to remind Ms. Mitchell about the Clinton White House.

In 1996, a retired FBI agent named Gary Aldrich published a bestselling book titled Unlimited Access.

While employed with the FBI, Aldrich performed background checks on incoming White House staffers. He did this under the administrations of both George H.W. Bush and, later, Bill Clinton.

Aldrich revealed that Clinton’s White House was practically one big orgy of drugs, sex, lies and theft.

Among the things Aldrich revealed that some of us already knew:

• The Clintons fired long-time White House staffers and replaced them with their personal friends.
• Vince Foster, a high-level Clinton White House staff member who reportedly died by suicide, had an affair with Hillary Clinton and panicked the press would find out.
• Bill Clinton disappeared from the White House at night and, without Secret Service protection, traveled to a high-end Washington, D.C. hotel to have sexual trysts with an unidentified female celebrity.

Aldrich published Unlimited Access two years after the public learned that Bill Clinton, while governor of Arkansas, used state troopers as pimps to satisfy his enormous sexual appetites.

Perhaps boosting Aldrich’s credibility is the fact that bookstores nationwide carried Unlimited Access two years before the public learned the name Monica Lewinsky.

The retired FBI agent said several Clinton administration staff members, among other transgressions, stole from other people. They didn’t pay their taxes or their student loans. Some of the Clinton staffers used White House offices to have gay and lesbian sex while on-the-job. They also accessed classified materials without security clearances.

Chelsea Clinton, meanwhile, openly referred to her and her parents’ Secret Service detail as “personal trained pigs.” She said that was a term she borrowed from her parents.

Aldrich later documented how several Clinton staff members devoured not only cocaine but crack, LSD, and meth.

“If I had to guess, about 10 percent of the persons coming to the Bush White House had tried an illegal drug — which was about a third of the national average and it was almost always marijuana, and only once. Prior use of cocaine was very rare; use of more serious drugs was unheard of. The illegal drug use was invariably confined to an individual’s college days,” Aldrich wrote 27 years ago.

“Though the age breakdown in the Bush and Clinton administrations was probably about the same, illegal drug use in the Clinton administration was much higher and not confined to minor drugs like marijuana. Generally, if marijuana was used, it was not confined to the college years, either. In fact, a striking number of cases began to emerge in which the use of marijuana, once started in high school or college, continued into one’s 20s, 30s, and sometimes even 40s. We were talking about decades of illegal drug use.”

Thirty years later, D.C. Swamp Rats are astonished that someone in the supposedly austere Biden White House would use cocaine.

Maybe the substance belonged to a White House staffer?

Perhaps Cheech and Chong stopped by?

I expect that D.C.’s crack (no pun intended) team of investigators will get to the bottom of this and find out in no time who the culprit or culprits were…the same way they narrowed down the identity of last year’s U.S. Supreme Court leaker.

Which is to say…they won’t find out at all.
