It is official.

Governor John Bel Edwards shamelessly vetoed multiple Bills that are massively important to Louisiana citizens, to our freedom, our way of life, and the protection of the most vulnerable among us.

LACAG and citizens across the State worked tirelessly to secure passage of these items, only to see them vetoed by a Governor who seems increasingly to act without conscience.

From prohibitions against vaccine mandates for school children, to desperately needed tax relief, to protection of our school children from Leftist sexual indoctrination to the banning of genital mutilation and chemical castration of our minors, and much more, the Governor, with one stroke of his red pen, thwarted the clear will of Louisiana citizens.

This CANNOT stand. This WILL NOT stand.

He thinks he has won. He wants us to be demoralized. He wants us to quit, to lose heart. NEVER.

Due to relentless pressure placed on our representatives, a veto override session is scheduled to begin on July 18.

We CAN override this tyrant Governor’s will on every vetoed Bill. We will secure a resounding victory for Louisiana if this occurs.

Many of the vetoed Bills were passed by more than a 2/3 majority in both chambers, which is the margin required to pass the Bills over the Governor’s veto.

This is all very much within reach!

But it will happen only if you reach out to your Representative and Senator and say this: “I urgently DEMAND that every Bill that received final passage in the 2023 Session be called for a timely veto override vote, and that you vote YES on EVERY vetoed Bill.”

Please take the time to contact your Representative and Senator by email or phone and DEMAND this. We will be deeply thankful. Your State will be deeply thankful.  Most importantly, Louisiana citizens everywhere will be deeply thankful.

Remember: ALL THAT IS NECESSARY FOR EVIL TO PREVAIL IS THAT GOOD MEN DO NOTHING.

Let’s finish this for our children.
