Marsh fish are on a constant quest for suitable water temperature. In the spring and fall, it’s everywhere and easy to find, but in the seasons with more extreme temperatures, fish have to move to locales that won’t cook or freeze them.
That’s especially true this year, with the area in the grips of a drought and temperatures that would make the Sahara blush.
This week, I went looking in an area I suspected would hold fish, given the recent conditions, and lo and behold, I found them.
